Project Overview:

Full commission for the design, fabrication and installation of a bespoke spiral staircase for a local artist in the Windsor area.

The spiral staircase spans 2 floors, servicing basement, ground floor and 1st floor of this residential dwelling.

The staircase spirals up the centre of the house and provides a strong focal feature within the building. The ground floor includes an integral balustrade around the floor opening.

The staircase stringers have a radius of 800mm from the central post.

Steel trays support laminated glass treads which are sand blasted for non-slip.

The balustrades consist of toughened glass infill panels, whch are curved to profile on the staircase.

Handrails are fully welded and polished throughout to provide a continuous flowing handrail.

All steelwork is finsihed with powder coating in silver.
